 As the United States prepares to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the United States Declaration of Independence in 2026, the Milton House Museum is launching a special fundraising effort to mark this historic milestone: our 250 for 250 Campaign.

We are inviting 250 supporters to donate $250 in honor of America’s 250th birthday. 

This campaign is about more than reaching a number—it is about bringing together a community that believes history matters and that the stories of the past deserve to be preserved and shared.

Now through Independence Day (July 4), we encourage you to be part of this effort. Your contribution will help the Milton House Museum continue its work preserving one of Wisconsin’s most important historic sites, while supporting tours, educational programs, exhibits, and special events that connect people to the past.
